王勝德, 台大電機系教授
Sheng-De Wang (王勝德) was born in Taiwan in 1957. He received the B.S. degree
from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1980, and the M. S. and
the Ph. D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University,
Taipei, Taiwan, in 1982 and 1986, respectively.
Since 1986 he has been on the faculty of the department of electrical
engineering at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, where he is
currently a professor. Since 1995 he has also served as the director of
computer operating group of computer and information network center, National
Taiwan University. He served as a visiting scholar in Department of Electrical
Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle during the academic year of 1998-1999.
His research interests include parallel and distributed computing, system software,
and intelligent systems.
Dr. Wang is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and IEEE
computer societies. He is also a member of Phi Tau Phi Honor society.
